Eastview FAQ's
Is renter's insurance required?
Yes. We require our residents to have liability insurance with coverage of at least $300,000. It is the responsibility of the resident to obtain and pay for the renter's insurance.
How much is the security deposit?
Our security deposit is equal to one month's rent.
What leasing options are available?
Eastview offers 12-month leases.
Are utilities included?
Hot water is included in your rent.
What are your application requirements?
We require a household income of at least 3x the rent amount. We also conduct credit, criminal, and rental background checks.
What are the occupancy limits?
Eastview's occupancy standards are set by the local Board of Health and are as follows: Studio - 2 people, One BR Jr. - 3 people, One BR - 3 people, and Two BR - 5 people.
What fees/deposits are due upon applying? Moving in?
Eastview does not have an application fee but we do require 10% of the security deposit when you submit the application.
The remainder of the security deposit, which is equal to one month's rent, along with a $25 key fee and the first month's rent is due before moving in.
When is rent due?
Rent is always due on the first day of the month.
How can I pay my rent?
Eastview only accepts online payments through your resident portal account.
Your options of payment are ACH, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Moneygram. Some of these options have added fees.
Is there a late fee for overdue payments?
Yes. There is a $75 late fee after 30 days.
How often is there a rent increase?
Rent increases are implemented upon renewal of the lease. You will not be subject to a rent increase in the middle of your lease.
What are the hours of the leasing office?
Our leasing office is open Monday-Thursday 9:00am -5:30pm, and Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.
What are the pool hours and seasonal availability?
Our pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day, 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, weather permitting.
Do the apartment homes have microwaves?
If a microwave is in the apartment home, it will be located over the stove. Not all of our homes have microwaves and our Leasing Team can help with finding a home for you that meets your needs.
Are your stoves gas or electric?
Our stoves are electric.
Are there laundry facilities in the community?
Every building at Eastview has a laundry facility.
What property amenities are included?
Eastview residents enjoy our seasonal pool, tennis court, and barbeque/picnic areas.
What schools serve Eastview?
Worcester Public Schools; Lakeview Elementary, Worcester East Middle School, and North High School.
Is there public transportation nearby?
Union Station, the commuter train station, is 2.9 miles from the Eastview Community. The nearest bus stop is a few blocks away at the corner of Lake Avenue and Wigwam Avenue.
Is Eastview near any major transportation routes?
Yes, all major routes are very close: Routes I-190, I-290, the Mass Pike, Route 9, and Route 20.
